5. Odoo Website, Portal and Customer Database

Devino uses Odoo to host our website, operate our B2B Portal and store and manage customer information.

Odoo states that information uploaded to a customer's Odoo database remains owned and controlled by that customer and that Odoo processes customer database information on the customer's behalf to provide the subscribed services. [odoo.com]

Odoo's current hosting structure provides an Oceania hosting region with production hosting in Australia. However, Odoo's current published data-location information states that Oceania backups may be maintained in Europe and Canada. Odoo also uses third-party infrastructure providers and subprocessors when providing its services. [odoo.com]

Accordingly, personal information held in Devino's Odoo database may be processed, backed up or accessed outside Australia as part of Odoo's cloud services.

Odoo advises that customers can choose their main hosting region, subject to availability, but cannot choose or restrict individual backup locations or the particular subprocessors used for processing. [odoo.com]

We do not sell personal information.

7. Overseas Processing and Disclosure

Some personal information may be processed, stored, backed up or accessed outside Australia through the technology and service providers used by Devino.

As noted above, Odoo's current published information states that the Oceania region uses Australia as its production location while backup copies may be held in Europe and Canada. [odoo.com]

Odoo also states that international Odoo personnel may in limited circumstances access information for specified purposes, subject to Odoo's privacy and security safeguards. [odoo.com]

The particular countries or service arrangements used by Odoo may change over time. Current information about Odoo's infrastructure and data handling is available through Odoo's published privacy and security information.

8. B2B Portal Security

B2B Portal users are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential and should not share login details with unauthorised persons.

Please contact Devino promptly if you believe your Portal credentials have been compromised.

Odoo states that database credentials are transmitted over HTTPS and customer passwords are protected using password hashing, while customer data is stored in separate customer databases with access controls. [odoo.com]

9. Security

Devino takes reasonable steps to protect personal information against misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

We use Odoo for our hosted website, B2B Portal and customer database. Odoo publishes information about its cloud security, database isolation, access controls, backups and disaster recovery arrangements. [odoo.com]

No electronic transmission, storage or information system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably required for the purposes for which it was collected and to meet our business, accounting, taxation and legal obligations.
